ENVIRO-DECON

PRODUCT

We use a 100% biodegradable, non-toxic, and non-corrosive product that has a built in penetrator. It's a green, earth-friendly product that becomes completely inert in 8 hours. It disintegrates mold and destroys mold spores from the inside. Color fast application and EPA labeled for use virtually everywhere.

METHODS USED

Our Two Step Process – simple and easy

Foaming: We apply our product as a foam to kill the mold on surfaces. It penetrates deep into wood (at least ¼ “) to destroy the hyphae & mycelium (roots) of mold growing beneath the surface. This foaming method applies to wood, concrete, siding (both vinyl & aluminum) and other porous and semi-porous surfaces.

Fogging: We then fog with our product to remove spores and mycotoxins from the air. (These are released into the air when the mold is killed). Fogging with our product also kills mold spores hiding in insulation, VOC’s (volatile organic compounds), bacteria, and viruses. This process takes only a couple of hours and destroys 99.9999969% of the toxins listed above. We also fix the underlying moisture problem. It’s better for your home and better for your health!

PRE AND POST TESTING

We do not do pre- and post testing. We simply kill all of the mold (toxic and non-toxic) and harmful toxins in the air, and back up our work with a Certificate of Completion and guarantee. In cases where pre-and/or post testing is required, we arrange or aid our clients in contracting with an independent company to do both testing and analysis. No conflict of interest and no upcharge passed on to you!

PRICING

In most cases, we do not charge for inspections/findings reports. Our pricing is guaranteed “apples to apples” to be the lowest. We back that up in writing. We are able to do that because of how amazing out product is and how well our protocols work. This also means that most projects only take a day or less.

Changing your world…One solution at a time.

PRODUCT

Other companies use very corrosive, unhealthy products that are not biodegradable, and are not earth friendly. These companies are members of an association that uses archaic methods and outdated harmful products in an effort to keep the prices and remediation labor time high so that they can charge more money and create more profit.

METHODS USED

Dry ice blasting - Soda Blasting: shreds the wood. In an attic, this process puts live mold into the insulation and spreads spores and Mycotoxins.

Scrape or sand and paint over: does not kill the hyphae of the mold; covers up mold so there is live mold left over (you just can’t see it); spreads toxins and spores into the insulation.
Bleach: Kills surface mold - “looks” good. Does not destroy the hyphae & mycelium (roots) and it does not fix the underlying problem. The air becomes more contaminated because mold spores are released as the surface mold is killed.

Other Companies don’t usually fog, or they fog with harmful chemicals; they also use other alternatives, such as:
Negative Air Machines - attempt to blow the spores and mycotoxins outside; does not kill them or get them all.
Air scrubbers with HEPA Filters: Mycotoxins are too small to get caught in HEPA filters. Mycotoxins are .1 micron or smaller. A HEPA filter is designed to trap .3 microns and larger. The result is that the most volatile organisms are left in the air. Also, the HEPA does not destroy or trap the other toxins.
Ozone Machines can be hazardous to your health and you must leave your home for several days.

PRE AND POST TESTING

Other companies build the cost of pre-and post testing into their estimate, thereby bringing remediation cost up. In many cases, testing and analysis may be done by the remediation company, which is a clear conflict of interest. This is legal in Michigan (not legal in many states), but highly unethical. It is also very easy to manipulate test results. Additionally, other companies may contract with an outside provider for testing and analysis, add the cost to the remediation contract, and pass on an up-charge to the client.

PRICING

An inspection charge can be hundreds of dollars and include the cost of pre-testing and analysis. Other company’s charges are typically 30% more, and can be up to 5 times higher than ours. If their prices are lower, they are cutting corners at the expense of your health. Their processes take days or even weeks, and you may end up in a motel.
